Dr. Hans J. Langer
CEO and Chairman of EOS Group
Dr. Hans J. Langer is the CEO and Chairman of the EOS Group, a family owned business. He is in charge of the strategic alignment of the EOS group of companies. The Langer family maintains a dynamic network of partner companies and promising start-ups, and its holding company now comprises more than 20 companies, including SCANLAB GmbH. With their AM Ventures Holding GmbH he is supporting promising start-ups in the field of Additive Manufacturing.
In 1989, Dr. Hans J. Langer founded EOS, with the vision to produce 3D objects directly from CAD data, using laser technology. With a pioneering spirit and an in depth knowledge of market requirements, Dr. Langer expanded the company into an independent and world-leading manufacturer of high-end solutions in the field of additive manufacturing (AM). Under his leadership, EOS is experiencing continuous growth and now employs more than 1,000 people worldwide. Sustainability, social responsibility and the spirit of innovation are the cornerstones and the driving forces behind its entrepreneurial activities.
Dr. Langer is a laureate of the Bavarian State Medal and received the German Innovation Prize in 2007. In 2015, Manager Magazine awarded him the Game Changer Award, and commended EOS as "an excellent example of technical innovation and entrepreneurial spirit."
Prior to the founding of EOS, Dr. Langer was active in research at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, and Managing Director at General Scanning GmbH. He studied Physics at the Technical University of Munich and was awarded a PhD in Laser Technology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich in 1980.
In his spare time, Dr. Langer is a passionate glider pilot and a lover of classical music. He is married and lives near Munich.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the EOS Group
Rudolf Nertinger has been CFO of the EOS Group since July 2014. Before joining EOS, Mr. Nertinger held different positions in tax advisory, auditing, as well as a commercial Director and manager. He has worked in international technology companies as well as for a family-owned corporation. Mr. Nertinger studied Business Administration at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany). He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Washington University (USA) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Munster (Germany).

President of EOS North America, Inc.
Glynn Fletcher has been serving as president of North America, Inc. since March 2015. In addition he oversees a subsidiary of EOS: Advanced Laser Materials (ALM), a leading provider of high-performance polymers, including customized blends for the AM. Prior to joining the company Glynn Fletcher gathered extensive experience in different managing positions – including 18 years with GF Machining Solutions.
Glynn Fletcher served a 4 year technical apprenticeship, has a mechenical engineering certificate. He has lectured on Machine Tool Design at Warwick University, UK & completed management development courses at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland & Kellogg Business School, Chicago USA.
